Men's Support Group

  • Kris Dohse Counseling 624 N Humphreys St. Suite 2 Flagstaff United States (map)

This is an open group that provides a space for meaningful dialogue with fellow men around issues that matter to you. Feel free to drop in any Friday at 1:00! Cost: $15

Topics Include:

SELF-ESTEEM

Examine from where you derive your sense of

worth. Learn to step out of negative thinking

patterns that keep you stuck and isolated.

TOXIC MASCULINITY

Reflect on the unhealthy ideas about manhood in

your life and ways to move beyond them.

Deconstruct myths around “weakness” and being

“strong.”

BODY IMAGE

Foster acceptance and appreciation for your body

as it is. Gain new perspectives on how the media

distorts what is “normal” and “desirable.”

RELATIONSHIPS & FAMILY

Explore vulnerability, intimacy, and what barriers

keep us disconnected. Consider how your

upbringing affects you in the present; how family

values shape your understanding of what it

means to be a man.

MENTAL HEALTH

Take a closer look at anxiety, depression,

trauma, grief/loss, and other conditions that

impact psychological wellbeing.
